A pottery class session is a package of classes that total 12 hours. When you sign up for an evening pottery class session (6-8 pm), we meet for 2 hours, once a week, for 6 classes consecutively and when you sign up for a morning pottery class session (9:30 am till noon), we meet once a week for 5 classes consecutively (2.5 hours, once a week, for 4 classes & 2 hours for the final finishing class). In these classes you learn every step of the creating, decorating & finishing process and glaze your own pottery pieces. The first class of each session often starts out with a pottery wheel demonstration designed for the beginner, so you are not required to take an Intro class first, although it is recommended. In session classes students start out practicing basic skills and the instructor may suggest appropriate class projects or assist individual students on specific projects. Often, advanced students work independently and request guidance as needed. The session pottery class fee includes all clay, glaze, and firing costs for beginning students. As students gain skills and are able to produce many and larger pottery pieces, additional materials fees will be added.        *Session classes are for adults, or those 16 and older.
